A network of platforms

The BiGEst platform is  a network of platforms and teams for the pooling of bioinformatics services in Alsace.

BiGEst brings together 8 research units from CNRS, INSERM, and the University of Strasbourg participating in a consortium agreement.

It consists of four member labs:

  • IBMP: Institute of Molecular Plant Biology – CNRS
  • ICube: Laboratory of Engineering Sciences, Computer Science and Imaging – CNRS and the University of Strasbourg
  • PALME/IGBMC: Plateforme d'Appui Localisée Mutualisée Étendue & Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology – CNRS, Inserm and the University of Strasbourg
  • IPHC: Hubert Curien Multidisciplinary Institute – CNRS and the University of Strasbourg

As well as four partner labs:

  • IBMC: Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology
  • INCI: Institute of Cellular and Integrative Neurosciences
  • GMGM: Molecular Genetics, Genomics and Microbiology
  • LNCA: Laboratory of Cognitive and Adaptive Neurosciences

Each member laboratory contributes staff time to carry out the hub's missions.
